Hey, cool that you tried it out.
you are looking at the wrong place.
press 'n' to toggle the right bar (in which the addon is placed)

No, the tutorial is well written on Github page so don't worry, it's just that I didn't noticed the BF1942 section when I press the 'N' button until recently.
The import function on Heightmap and (Standard)Mesh are working well, I haven't tried to import the TreeMesh yet.
I'm still in a learning curve on Blender's UI and 3D modelling in general so I'm not able to tell the result about creating/editing and exporting heightmap and mesh on existing bf1942 models.
Other than that, great work mate!
