What GPU do you have? (If you don't know, run "dxdiag" and let it tell you.)

NVIDIA GeForce GTX765M but dxdiag reads this.

I'm running this on a MSI GS70 laptop. I've had trouble with Unity starting up with this laptop and have to force it to use open gl.

I've got a feeling that it might be the graphics card.

yeah its a bit of a strange one.. maybe try switching win7 theme to classic.. That often solves a bunch of issues with old apps.
I've not seen before but maybe someone else has.

Do you know if battlecraft is running on the Intel or Nvidia card?
The Intel Core i7-4700HQ has its own integrated GPU, the HD Graphics 4600. It can be used for light workloads. The system automatically switches to the more powerful dedicated GeForce GTX 765M for more complex applications or games via Optimus.

I have that problem too. biggest reason why I don't make maps, but I know no solution.

wrong, requires open GL, which I do not, and cannot, have on this laptop.

dont be to sure, for some reason intel removed teh openGL support in there drivers but they still work in older graphics drivers. this was some years ago now and i dont know the situation with never intel graphic cards but if you have a older laptop it could be worth looking for older drivers with working openGL

i base that assumption on that most laptops have intel graphics :)

also it seems that the drivers that come with windows (atleast with win xp) doesnt have openGL support, you have to go to the graphics manufacturers website and grab drivers there (nvidia, ati)

I think 2003 is old enough, don't you think?
you scored two hits in one, oldness and intel!
but, I don't feel like screwing around with that. Oh well.
