Ah! I forgot to extract the objects.rfa into C:\bfdev\... now that explains why the objects did not show up...

I noticed the same problem with xpack2 under bc42.

So i have to use ed42, but how?

I saw the tutorial how to setup for bf1942, but how with xpack2?

dead thread.....
Just make a new one next time...

and the question, I use ED, because it's easier, and my PC cannot run battlecrap. But, I cannot make maps because my cursor forgets to display on the screen of ED...
A picture is worth a thousand words, but takes up three thousand times the memory.

This is quite simple to do actually.

If you have your bf42 dev folder setup and working in ED42 then make two copies of it renaming them xpack1 and xpack2 respectively. Now extract each xpack into it's respective directory. Now when you open ED42 goto File->Directories and select which dev you want to use.

I also have the xpacks working in Battlecraft and will do a tutorial on how to do it soon.

Can you make a screenshot of your bfdev folder? What is inside? :D

The game has to be extracted for ED42 to work. To setup a BF42 dev folder you simply extract the objects, standardmesh, and texture rfa's into it.
