With some insane spawners and player deathbubbles something like the basic passageway swapping could be achieved :geek:

insane though. I'm tempted!

Similar to FlaMiN's(foOk's) idea about a map replica of the Mt. Washington rd project. I was watching the old "boob tube", and on the history channel there was this program called Deadliest Roads. I had seen this before, but this time I connected tit with is82.....

http://www.history.com/shows/irt-deadli ... vs-bolivia

So, the challenge I have given thyself is this:

Recreate this treacherous road as best I can to make an actual, existing course:)

Alas, the Stratos(race car) will not be the main vehicle in this epic challenge. I would be in need of a large truck(hell, even a school bus) to keep the thrill high. Of course, the Stratos(race car) would be available upon completion of the map...

I will gladly except any and all assistance in this endeavor!! Thoughts, suggestions and comments are of course welcome, and appreciated!!

This would be very cool and maybe not too hard to copy. You should google 'extracting heightmap info from google maps' and you may be able to grab a heightmap for that area to kick things off :)

In my gritmod.. http://gritmod.com/ there are some suitable vehicles for a test at this.

Just remember that the heightmap can't go straight up. It always angles because the heightmap's vertices are always an equidistance apart.

Also note that the higher the adjacent vertex is, the more stretched-out the ground texture will look.

You always can make the steep cliff a custom object. It's fairly easy to do as well, as you can import the complete heightmap into 3ds max fairly easy, then edit it as required and then just snip out the "cliff" part and assign a custom cliff texture it, with no ugly stretching.

Battlecraft is fail for most out-of-the-ordinary-work.

If you really need more help (and it looks like it ;) ), then best to create your own thread and concentrate your questions (and help from others) there so this thread doesn't get cluttered up.

I think we already have Editor '42 tutorials. You should check those out, GDTD.

I wasn't clear, my apologizes. I am already in the progress of learning editor42.

What I don't have a clue about is finding/getting/adding heightmaps from google earth or an existing map.

I also have never made any object. So that's gonna be a tough one.

Okay will do:)
