Hey Pink, i missed something at the end of your last tut here regarding the assigning the texture to faces you selected on your weapon.
You selected the end piece of the model and you selected normal and box mapping and then you could move the faces and vertices of the model to different parts of the UVW editor. I presume you were moving it to different parts of the texture? How did you then assign the texture to the model? At that point in your tutorial you then went to the completed mapped model...
Ill go back and look at tut 2 where you assigned the texture to the face of the cube perhaps theres an answer there.
