Berlin Last Night

My first night map, I conceived it the last night of the fall of the 3rd Reich.

All you did for a night atmosphere was basically replace the skybox...there's a lot more potential in it. And a good lighting has a tremendous effect on your map's immersion factor.

The layout of the map looks good so far, but there's a lot of work to be done. If you want I can help with the lightmapping. Once your done placing the statics and stuff, I can throw the map into 3DSMax and do my magic to it. Let me know what sections of the map you want lit windows on and such. Otherwise I will decide randomly which windows and buildings get light sources.

To give you an idea on what to expect, here is a video showing on old map conversion I did for the standard Berlin. I converted to a nightmap and added lightsources into the lightmaps to make it more realistic:

That video is a bit old now. The process I go in setting up the lightsources results in better lightmaps.

Yes it is I think. It's in the levels folder and I haven't changed the mod since the last upload so it should be in the latest version.
