Re: Newbie Here

Good job Mr Poom. There is always a method to my madness as I am mad due to the fact that madness is a method of it's self. (figure that one out, when you do let me know) I do like living on the outside of the envelope looking in, and have come to the conclusion that life is a comedy. It proves that...

Re: Do you know BGA ???

I'm Sorry my curiosity is killing me here. I am sure I am not the only one who wants to ask the obvious question(s). I mean this is a totally new question on any battlefield modding forum, and after almost 10 years I thought I had heard them all. What are you doing with them? Why do they need to be ...

Re: First time map making help

I imagine he has the editors as they come with the game. All he wants to do is open maps already created and change what vehicles and such spawn into the map, which is quite simple to do. He could either rename an original map or add his changes to an archive file (like map_name.999). This would be ...

Re: A couple questions.

When you run the install does it have a check box for Pixel fighter? Like McCaffery does with flash, or the yahoo tool bar in many downloads? If so just uncheck it and see if GMax then installs. It's an advertising plow is all it is, a lot of free stuff comes with this stuff as extras and set for in...

Re: A couple questions.

I will download and test it to see if there is a problem. I haven't had the time to fire up my old old rig to hunt for it. After all this might be a newer version as I got mine in 2004? Who knows he might have gotten a corrupt download, it happens.

Re: 10 year old game - still attracting new modders...

That's alright Swaffy, you can call me old, I'm used to it (59 in another month). :D With age comes wisdom, or at least you start to understand that every time you stick your hand in the fire, it burns your freaking hand, HAH. Speaking of cooking .. the weather is getting right for a good Cajun gumb...
