Re: BF1942/Stalker/custom map
Ok, so the first problem was the camp fire, because it was imported from fh0.7 and the vanilla bf1942 doesn't like it. :S And the second porblem is the wreck, wrecks. I want to put vehicle wrecks to the map. I saw this code in a map and it works. ...objects\Wreck_PanzerIV_m1\ geometries.con Geometri...

Re: BF1942/Stalker/custom map
Sorry, but i don't understand this. :SSwaffy wrote:Have you tried loading the map while running the debugger (bf1942_r.exe, mod_r.dll, and windowed mode)?
Is this a command line to the start icon?

Re: BF1942/Stalker/custom map
Some new infos! I made a basic map with 2 flagpoles. There is no generated material map or objects etc... just the 2 flags and 1-1 spawnpoint for it. Than i extracted the map and put inside the correct files i want to use for the map. Than repacked it. The kit modding works fine, but i think there i...

Re: BF1942/Stalker/custom map
Is there a numeric order of the weapons of a kit? Yes, itemIndex, the number following indicate what slot is to used If its a mod or custom map it should be fairly easy to do, but if its a ssm mod then its a bit trickyer There is a mod with "pilot" kits, i think the other kit has no shute...

Re: BF1942/Stalker/custom map
I think that would not be hard, but it would take some compensation. I'm pretty sure that can be done by map-side modding. The compensation would be that there are only 2 pistols in the game, so you're going to have to choose which one to modify to have only 2 spare mags. The game, by default, has ...

Re: The Best RFA unpack/pack program
Well, i tried ED42 but it didn't fit to me. I like BC42 much better so i try to get these files from somewhere.Vilespring wrote:Oh. I'm pretty sure the makers of FH used ED 42. ED 42 is much easier to work with mods, as all you need to do is unpack all of it's RFAs into it's archives!
But thx for the help!

Re: The Best RFA unpack/pack program
I forgot where a .cfg and a .Ist file live. I have FH installed, but give me a path. These files are need for Battlecraft 42 to make a map in this mod. These are not installed in the mod. The cfg is the config of FH, teh lst is a list of all FH objects. I think somebody in the past made them with s...

Re: The Best RFA unpack/pack program
I had that problem when I put the King Tiger tank from FH into my mod. The tank would be 1 shotted from the front by a Sherman, yet the rear could take a Sherman shot at point blank and loose half a health block. The solution was opening up the file in G-max, and then re-doing the materials to suit...
