So I was having this problem and I made a video as a demonstration of it, but I managed to solve it in the video =D

Found a solution! it was to do with nVidia settings. Editor42 was running off intel integrated setting where it needed to be run off the graphics card. NVIDIA GeForce GTX765M but dxdiag reads this.



I'm running this on a MSI GS70 laptop. I've had trouble with Unity starting up with this laptop and have to force it to use open gl.

I've got a feeling that it might be the graphics card.
