Re: Tutorials are missing

There's not really a lot of magic going into BF42 texturing. Create and paint a texture sheet, apply it with the BF shader material to your object in 3ds max and you're done...there are no "special" maps whatsoever you have to care about (bump, normal etc.). The alpha layer (RGB + A) is a ...

Re: BFMDT 2.76 www.bfmods.com Developement Thread

I think the issue you detail is related to the one Red pointed me to and I explained earlier. I currently have no idea yet where it originates really, considering the scripts seem to work okay on that part on Max8-12. Didn't have time to check into it either the last week(s): finished my Bsc, moved ...

Re: Stop server from restarting map when second player joins

No need to edit the .exe . Sorry, I gave you the wrong filename. Look for "objects\Soldiers\common\CommonSoldierData.inc" . That's a file that is called whenever a soldier is required (be it bot or player), so it allows to easily "hook" in commands that you want to apply universa...

Re: FH - Secret Weapons Installer killing my PC

Agree with Swaffy. Inexplicable failures are either serious mod flaws or issues on your end (software/hardware). As you already described your gaming rig as a toaster, there's a very good chance FHSW won't run well at all. FHSW is the biggest mod (before even BG42) in terms of content and stresses t...

Re: [Tool]Snip'n'Stitch v3

Certainly doable. Just not now. Size doesn't matter, it's Java..."just" gotta do setup all the coding. Stitch is almost entirely unrelated to Snip, so it's a whole new project to tackle, really.

Re: [Tool]Snip'n'Stitch v3

Thanks for spotting that, fook, fixed it :) . Stitch....didn't hear anyone calling a need for it, so I froze that feature. Especially as it would mean a whole lot of new work ;) . If demand exists, it might come someday, but don't expect any serious for the next 4 weeks, I'm in the process of moving...

Re: [Tool]Snip'n'Stitch v3

Upon retrying the program myself, I found a critical bug that causes a startup failure. I also noticed some other bugs that crippled the preview image (e.g. not updating when scrolling, resize of image always reset the image to 0-0 coordinates disregarding scrollbar positions). First post updated wi...

Re: [Tool]Snip'n'Stitch v2

Your code should work. The problem seems to be that you did not install Java properly or at least the file command is not declared which is usually a registry issue (also fixable by reinstalling Java). So: Reinstall Java ;) . java -jar SnipnStitch_2.jar If you want a batch to start things up, use th...

Re: FH - Secret Weapons Installer killing my PC

Part 3 works just as fine, you just have to be more patient.
