Mod maps not showing in Dedicated Server
Again a weird problem thingie I have... I have created a new mod (minimod for Battlegroup42) and now have the problem that its maps (which basically only are patchfiles, changing the MapID, some might remember it from the thread where I asked about batch renaming) do show up in the ingame "set ...

How is it too big? If it's any closer, you'll be unable to recognize anything...you can change the text style however, and with it also the line pitch...no separate setting, though.
Just check Options->Style. There under "default" you can change everything as you want it.

Re: Weapon or Ground Vehicle ?
L1 is usually a rough model and is used for simple objects. All vehicles have three geometry templates usually, a "Complex" which contains all the parts, weapons, wheels etc., a "Simple", which usually only consists of the poor L1 mesh and nothing else, and a "Wreck" wi...

Re: [Tool]Notepad++ Syntax Highlighter for BF42/BFV
What setup config did you use? Did you say the settings should be stored in the program folder or that they should be stored separately for each user in his app-folder? I guess you did the latter, and thus you would need to put the file in your %APPDATA%\Notepad++ folder. Don't put it in APIs, that'...

Re: How much is too much?
Well, Battlegroup42 weighs almost 2 GB...but that's because they have probably the biggest BF42 mod avaible .
It simply depends on what a mod contains...in BF42 it's pretty easy to grab that concept: the bigger the mod, the more content it has. Almost always right.

Re: Minor issue when animating a banana....
Yeah, Archis Tutorials on Youtube are really awesome :) , and once one has figured out how the hell to get BF42 and 3ds Max to "cooperate", it's actually pretty easy and only an incredible amount of fine-tuning the animations (which still is quite some work, at least if you do more complex...

Re: Animations...again
Yup, just follow the vids in the playlist order (They were named somewhat confusingly with all the second half part 4 stuff etc. ;) ). There are a lot of them and Archi messed up himself twice (or 3x?) during the vids, but quickly resolved his problems. And they are good to know too, because they ar...

I'd like a basic tutorial on debugger editing...like how one has to use the commands, special things that one has to take care of etc.

Animations...again
And the next round of noob questions from Senshi, the guy with the weirdest questions of all! So, I beat myself through the tut vids of Archimonday on animations, and well, after some fiddling here and there (nothing more than Archi struggled himself in the vids ;) ) I got my first animation "r...
