Re: Zeuser, the DCX guy is here
Yes... THAT Zeuser. I was doing some cleaning and came across a CD of DCX I burned in the mid 2000s. I haven't worked on DCX since 2006. Anyway, I found the new bf1942 for windows 10 with the xpacks. Then Installed DC and DCX. And sure enough, I still had the DCX source materials. Well, long story ...

Re: Looking for the Samplesmaker v1.0 program
Ok since it's something small I can host it here: https://apachethunder.github.io/samples.zip Yeah unfortunate that the domain expired. I considered buying the domain but it seems it's too late for that. Some Indonesian gambling company bought it some time ago so that ship has sailed. :( (for some r...

Re: Different playerskins for different classes
The only way I can think of is building soldiers entirely out of kitparts ... but that would come with some limitations I would guess. I have not tried skinning animated meshes with kitparts though so maybe you can get kitparts to animate with the skeleton. At least when it comes to stuff like the j...

You don't. That's BF2's Debugger which I guess is a bit more advanced then BF1942's.

Re: Where Are My Posts?
New users have to have posts approved. We've had a lot of spam bots awhile back so it's not something we will stop doing anytime soon. Just be patient. After a certain amount of your posts are approved you will eventually get off the new user probation and not have to wait for post approval anymore....

Re: Diamondback’s Conquest Bot Files
I'm pretty sure all bot stuff is 100% serverside so you can even repack the maps with new bot files for vehicles that didn't originally have them or even add the pathmaps and such to a map that didn't originally have bots at all and it would probably work in conquest mode. Only the server needs that...

Re: Do Bots Have Unlimited Ammo and/or Unlimited Overheat?
Rules for overheat and ammo applies for bots regardless of type of weapon. (handweapons and vehicle weapons for bots can still overheat but they can't run out of ammo). Ammo remaining in a magazine clip if said vehicle weapon has one may remain partially used if you manage to get vehicle after a bot...

Re: EA Hacked. 750+GB data stolen
Yeah it wouldn't really be something we could use directly for anything. It would be cool to see how some of the things worked in the game. Though age of the game and that it was initially based of the engine Rallisport Challenge used they probably didn't keep the Refractor 2 source in the same plac...

An interesting development. I'm quietly crossing my fingers hoping BF1942 source code is in there...though super unlikely.
