Re: random stuff :)

Okay, I actually got the multiplayer to work, and messed around a bit, and found a rather serious design flaw with my tank!
shoot the 3 angled plates on the front off, and the tank splits in half!

Re: random stuff :)

Bothunter, I finally got around to the rigid chips thing, and man, that's AMAZING!! This is what I made, it's pretty wonky to control, but it works well! it's a tank! :D rigid tank.JPG // [RCD] Val { AIM(default=0, min=-10, max=10, step=5) FIRE(default=0, max=1000000, step=1000000) LBRAKE(default=0,...

Re: Having issues creating a new RFA Folder in RFA Explorer

I'd say try a different RFA program, there's one floating around the forums here, and I use it rather well.
Its uses are limited, but it does its job; packing and unpacking.

Re: Having issues creating a new RFA Folder in RFA Explorer

Oh yuck, Vista. That might be part of the problem, and it might not.
Right now, Windows 7/8 works well
Windows xp works very well, because it's stable and Microsoft isn't updating it anymore. That's a plus within itself. :)

Re: Spawnable items?

I guess the only solution is to make them drop with the fire button, making an array of kits around the truck's current position.

Re: Spawnable items?

Does this mean I can attach kits to vehicles? Like supply trucks?

Re: BF 1942 Masterserver Solution for Mods?

Well, the problem is that those are some pretty big mods, like FHSW, that mod is HUGE!!! On my craptop (laptop) FHSW takes about 30 minutes to load any map. A bigger and more BA server computer might help loading times.

Re: Class Editor

Swaffy is very right. You learn the most by finding things by accident, and breaking the game.

Let's just say, BF doesn't like you if your vehicle has no camera...
