Re: Mamba's maps and mods

I've re-released the Battlecraft files needed to correctly display custom objects from three Battlefield 1942 maps: Battle of Britain, Coral Sea and Liberation of Caen. The original credit for these Battlecraft files comes from a modder named Dweller_Benthos. Unfortunately his personal website where...

Re: .lst & .cfg generator based on .rfa of custom objects?

I'm sorry for resurrecting a long-dead thread, but I did get the lstgen executable to work properly. Now, it was meant for the Desert Combat mod, as I believe the object names and mesh names are the same. Now I would want to get the lstgen to work for Forgotten Hope Secret Weapon. The problem is th...

Re: Strasbourg

I've modified my Strasbourg Day 2 map. This is the final download link: Strasbourg Day Two I've also made a third variation of the map with two extra control points located outside the city boundaries. This stretches the combat area to a larger portion of the map. Download link here: Strasbourg Day ...

Re: Trying to add new faction

Can you walk us through what files you tried to add? Also, using the Debugger would be a good first start to pinpoint the problem.

Re: Unlimited objects in Battlecraft 1942

Now that Ive used it for a longer, here are my thoughts. 1) it works fine with creating and modifying BF42 Maps. I havent tried it with other mods, although so far, Its worked fine with my creating/modding xpack 1 and xpack 2 rfa files. (p.s. you can edit the add on pack maps by simply using winrfa...

Re: Battlefield 1942 open-source ?

Hi yanapa, A very late reply, but I would like to thank you for your excellent work on BGA. A tool that has proven to be an excellent replacement of winRFA in many ways, and which I use often. I find the information in your post concerning the GPL license very interesting. Concerning BC42, in the ma...

Re: Carriers

I would like to know if it’s possible to edit the number of say SBD’s it spawns. Like one right after the other for massive air battles on maps like Midway or a custom map I’m making. Give it a spawn delay of under 10sec so you can just pump out fighters and dive bombers. Try this: https://bfmods.c...

Re: Better textures

It seems the textures in that map weren’t generated in BC but with intricate noise layers in Editor42. This is another program for mapping, with far more advanced texturing capabilities.
