Re: Smallones

Well first before you go to painting everything white lets get a plan together. Let me answer your question first as it deals with the first and most important thing about a 2D pathmap. If a bot spawns onto or ends up on a nogo or white area he will stay there till he dies or is killed. Black (bit s...

Re: Recreate the water effect on a plane mesh

I was wondering this myself because I would really like some sort of water mesh which brings me to the reason for my post. Has anyone tried to port the BFV watermeshes in to bf42? I would assume that it is a problem because no one has done it yet. Now another possibility is smig's custom fountain. H...

Re: Smallones

Interesting, I assume here your trying to get the infantry to follow certain paths. I have used something like that before in a bf1918 map but no where near that elaborate. Only thing I see right off the bat is that you have your 64x64 info map tiles broken up into to many dogo areas. The trick is t...

Re: Smallones

As I mentioned above, extract to a new folder fresh and try again by rt clicking on "Run as Administrator" in the drop down list. You might have muddies the waters with all the stuff you tried. Like I said this machine I am on now is running Win 7 Pro x64 and it works fine doing it that wa...

Re: Smallones

Eh .. just thought of something else. When you run BFSAK for the first time, it creates an ini and support files. If you change directories where you run it you have to delete this file or it will not start sometimes. Also in the ini is the last map opened, delete this for each new map is like clear...

Re: Howdy, it's cajunwolf from over at BFSP.

Well one thing I have learned in all the forums, mod teams, and other BF activities is that everyone has a piece of the puzzle, interesting ideas, or intimate knowledge of some aspect of the game. When I say a "comprehensive" mapping tutorial I mean all inclusive and to create good maps yo...

Re: Smallones

I noticed all of y'all doing tutorial vids and such. I downloaded and installed CamStudio and it seems to be ok, I have to learn it yet. What programs do you or the others here use?

Re: Smallones

I run all my gaming stuff at present on an HP XW9300 Workstation running Win XP Pro x64 or a HP XW4300 running Win XP Pro SP3 x32. I have 2 Dell precision workstations, a T3400 and a T3500 both running Win 7 pro x64. On Win 7 rt click and select "Run as Administrator" and it should run, it...

Re: Smallones

Sorry dude, that is an older copy and I do need to update that kit. I have more tools to add too. Anyhow I am going to give you two downloads. First will be the BFSAK 20051002 version where 4c packaged it with the GDK installer, and second is version 20051110 which is a version that does not use it....
