Most likely, GeometryTemplate.LodDistance value in terrain.con is too big

The reason is random geometries. If you look into objects.con and geometries.con, you'll see a set of 9 turrets which are selected randomly. That's why it doesn't show up in 3ds Max

That usually happens when GeometryTemplate.LodDistance in terrain.con is too high.

I was trying to do the same two years ago, to create "encyclopedia" for my mod which replaces "intro" button in main menu! OMG
I also modified "create game" menu to make it bf2-like.
But after some time spent I lost motivation and gave it up...

Anyway, you don't need any list of triggers, constants or whatever. You can find all of them right in BF1942.exe, using any HEX-viewer. For example, search for "PIUse", and you'll see all available triggers in one place
