thanx man... i don't texture like every one else does i don't think.
also the texture isn't flattened out like they usually are its just a picture lols. download it do see the texture file. its just s picture of a gun lol...
i love making stuff just by looking at it.

sorry if not detailed enough... I'm not good at making low poly stuff. so therefor i didn't do too much detail

yeah well. i used a program called 3ds max 9, this cost a bit but you can torrent it and stuff which i don't think alot of people here would be very happy about that lol. so you could take the free option which you can download gmax.
Click below to get gmax.
Gmax Download
if you are looking for 3ds max get versions 5 - 7 or else you cannot use the bftools for them.. like me i can't use bftools because i have v9.0. i could add them manually but i need the files first.

once installed, the first time you run it... it will ask for a serial key. click on the link and fill out the information. you may need a account... i can't remember. just follow along with it... its will ask for name and suff.. i just put name: a last name: b :D

then when gmax starts up.. it will ask something about openGL. make sure openGL is ticked or has the lil circle ticked thing in it. if that makes sense.

you can find tutorials on youtube to give you the basics or just let me know if you'd like some tutorials and ill try to make you some. (:
also have a look around the forums to find some tutorials on things.
i might even teach you how to model a plane (:

There are a few free open source 3D Modeling programs out there and that are good to learn modeling on if you can't afford a pro Modeling program. Blender is one of the modeling programs that we worked with in Digital Entertainment and Game Design School along with 3d Max and Maya. There is a good starter tutorial by Black Sabbath on making Low Poly game ready weapon models here http://www.ghostrecon.net/html/mod-gun-models.htm He uses Max 5 but it will teach you the basics on low poly modeling Good luck with your modeling.

I forgot about Milkshape 3D its sharware but usable which is weird that I forgot about it as much as I had to use it to mod Sims 2. It is used for modelling in half life too

You already know about Gmax.
