I've seen such freeze image scenes in BF videos before, but never had an idea how to do this. Can you give me a lil hint plz? What tool / technique does it require?

Yes just pause the game and use "hud 0" in the console.
You need to be close to soldiers while pressing pause. Otherwise the hands aren't shown.
And I used:

uhhh,yea

Hm just typed "pause" in my server's console window (so really the server, not ingame). It does indeed work in multiplayer. You'd have to find an easier way to toggle it though, let's say by key or shortcut that sends a command through rcon. Hmmm..,.

Very nice video! Wonderful cuts, original style with the "diorama" scenes, good extra work with the overlay sounds (guns, explosions, etc.) and a very good soundtrack choice. May I ask what song you used?

Yes, I've made it in single player waiting for some bot action
You can use it also on servers bot I guess you will have a little delay until the game is paused. But I'm not sure..

The title of the song is "Lepcis Magna" from " ES Posthumus" they have nice "epic" music

Very nice. I like how it composes with music. Hearing sound effects for "frozen" scenes is quite original too.
