Yo yo everyone

Just wondering how I can play with some friends WITHOUT joining a server. This way we can play maps that servers don't use and other stuff

You can't do ... anything ... related to computer-to-computer gaming without a network. Servers are required for such gaming.

Basically impossible without a server.

UNLESS

Your friend's computer is physically close/next to your computer, and you both connect your computers directly by using only an ethernet cable. One end to your friend's computer, the other end to yours. Simple. But not simple because you then have to configure your computers' networks to read off of each other directly. I forgot how to do that, which is sad because my college classes taught me stuff like this.

It's not really EA's idea, it's computers in general. Kind of like how you can't talk without a mouth (bad example for the win).

That is the worst example that works, but there is nothing wrong with it at the same time.

You can host from ingame the CREATE GAME menu then your buds need to paste in your IP under ADD SERVER I thinks
