Battlefield 1942 Mods, Modding Tutorials & Forums

How would I setup a BF1942 v1.6 on my Dedicated box? Guides, tutorials, etc. would be nice.

This is what I have on mine:
battlefield_1942_server_v1.6.19
bf1942_server_v1.6_to_v1.61b

BFServerManager20beta4g (Server manager software, much better than the included one - BlackBagOps)

You will need to manually update punkbuster if you want to run it.
Unfortunately the official one no longer supports BF1942

I found one called "Punkbuster 42" or possibly "TanksPBupdate" might work.
Although can't remember where I got these exactly.

I also installed:
desert_combat_0.7n_full_server_install
DC_Final_Server

Oh if you are hosting an internet server, I believe you also need to open ports 14567 and 23000 linked to the local IP of the computer hosting the server.

Master, why old and not the final version ?
