Adjusting the Mod

Post by ZOOMER »

This game is "old" and needs adjustments.

Anyone want to share how they have adjusted their local files.
Of course screen shots would show the adjustment...but not a 25% adjustment. ;)

Don't start your reply with the words "hacker"...get over that hump and enlighten us.

What's the worst that could happen? An even playing field against the regulars that have already done it?

Maybe it's time, maybe it's not. Doesn't matter...it just doesn't matter.

Anyone want a for instance?

During game play: Press "Alt F4" to get the list.

ummm. Pretty sure you're talking about cheating?

Unless you mean stuff like turning off lightmaps, in the options menu. That allows you to see easier in buildings.

Changing local files, like fog, that kind of stuff...you will be caught for cheating, either by PB, PsB or PBBans if they use them...

Fore instance in Videodefault.con

renderer.setFullScreen 1
renderer.fieldOfView 1 <===adjusting this for the widescreen monitors helps
renderer.globalLodRadius 1
renderer.globalLodRadiusScaleFactor 5
console.showStats 0
renderer.allowAllRefreshRates 1
renderer.lockfps 99.9 <===this allows a smoother look during game play (the game default is 100)

There are these local files for:
sound.con
video.con
videocustom.con
generaloptions.con
