Carrier Plane Help Please

hey, i was looking threw the old ssm tut. and i found this topic on modified carrier and as you scroll down a little you will see this username: "VOLTANO" and so i took the 6 aircraft planes code. but when i go my server the carrier is not even there! i hope i put the code right? please help. (it was on Midway)

Not sure about the code since I have never since I have never did ssm, but I have seen a map with 8 planes on a carrier at once and a fast spawn rate. It is on the Pearl Harbor 1.1 Map (You can find it here- http://battlefield2.filefront.com/files ... 2_Mod;5355) Only thing was They didn't have the planes links to the carrier so they didn't spawn when the carrier went boom!!! The Carrier was also in a spot you couldn't move it anywhere. It is funny watching all those planes and Japs spawn over the ocean where the carrier should have been and have to swim for it and all those planes sinking to the bottom of the ocean. :lol:

I didn't create the map but I have it and have played it. the Carriers do respawn the one with all the extra planes is in the up left corner of the map and surronded by little islands. There is even a few useless craft in the map not sure what the creater was thinking there. Why put a Type 38 patrol boat in a map then make it so you can't move it? There is a sub in the map the same way. It is mostly a flying map anyway. You have to capture flags by making several passes in the planes. The Jap bots are very good at capturing flags that are on the ground with planes too on the map. Just the allied bots are stupid. I think it would be better with a group of human players on that map IMO. There is a flaw in the code somewhere on that map though. Don't put a chopper of plane that has rockets on the map. As soon as you fire a rocket the game will crash.

lol sorry, I meant where he put the code...because he didn't download a map, he just copied the extra plane code. :)

Well when you said "the carrier is not even there", that made me think that it hadn't been spawned.

So check your ObjectSpawns.con and make sure you spawned it. Its important! :)
