Importing to your mod

Post by Fat Man »

Hi guys,
I'm making my own mod and i would like to know how to.....

-use gmax battlefield tools to create animations, skeletons, skins, shadow meshes, and collision meshes
-import weapons
-import vehicles
-import soldier weapon packs (i need jetpack the most)
-create textures on gmax (if it can be done on gmax)
-create terrain
-create vehicles
-create weapons
-create .rs files (and what all the lines and numbers mean on them)
-create objects with multiple textures
-add surface maps to custom made maps
-any other general modding info

things i already know (so you dont have to waste time typing uneeded things)
-how to import objects
-how to create objects
-the complete file structure of battlefield 1942
-how to use battlecraft

programs i have
-3ds max
-gmax
-bf mod development toolkit
-battlecraft
-photoshop
-winRAR
-xfire (for taking video)
-and a bunch of mods

xfire: fatmanrocks (in-case you need to reach me)

Just browse the forum a bit :)
It's a good knowledge base already.
Also the old forum: http://battlefieldmodding.com/ssm/phpBB3/
You’re entering a world of pain!
