Hey everyone :) Hope everyone has had a good weekend, i sure have, lots of bf1942 mod progress.

So i've been trying to get the lightmaps on this wood-fort to.. well work, and actually look good.
the best result i've had so far, is this

as you can see, theres lots of shadow-glitches, most likely due to the low resoultion of the lightmap.

I could just "bake" the texture in 3dsmax, but then i wouldn't get the REAL light source from the map.
Hopefully someone can help, or tell me that its not possible :p

I've managed to get other statics looking good, like the wooden fence on the side of the fort.

Two threads on this but how did you setup your lightmap channel in max?

P.s. Epic weekend ending in watching the xfactor with lame vs lame in the final!

Lame won!

Ok! yay! so i've gotten it to look alot better, by doing the uvw manually..
well just the parts that actually needs lighting, the first floor and the outside.
the second and third floor inside are gonna be just shaded anyway
so i saved alot of space by making the 2 floors just 1px on the uvw. :)

Some lightmaps vs no lightmap images for comparison.
