Nice vilespring, K98's are the bomb. Ours was made in 1904, so it's more like a ww1 gun. It was made in Berlin, originally 6mm, then sold to the Portuguese. Later when their army upgraded to 8mm, this one was sent back to Berlin (I think) and re-cambered to 8mm. I could post some pics if you want to see it.

Swaffy, that town sounds pretty friendly, I know if I took a gun downtown where I live (a tiny town of 1,800), I would have cops and whatnot swarming around and tazing me. :x
My Dad was born in AK so we are kind of still a part of it, we go up there every summer where we have a commercial fishing boat. We could never move any more south than we are, too
much ice in our blood :P .

Weirdly...I've never fired a real gun! They seem a lot harder in real life I bet.
