Junk Vehicle contest V2! (maybe)

I am thinking of doing the junk vehicle contest again. I'm going to edit the rules a bit maybe, and take some recommendations about the rules.
I won't start the contest if no one participates in the contest, because last time, only one person turned in their junk! :lol:

so, just plop a comment down if you want to join, or about how terribly stupid this idea is. :)

make a contest technical enough from a coding point of view too and perhaps will get more interest.

If its difficult then maybe more would be interested.. on this forum anyway..



make a working clock tower..

make a mechanism of some kind to sort different objects that fall into it..

random objects fall from the sky into a funnel.. and depending on their properties / shape etc the machine under the funnel will sort them into different buckets .. heheh


something difficult :)

like the sidescroller thing I suggested.. which sadly turned into rotating a tank camera instead :(

then just keep pushing it.. people are vaguely interested, Im sure.. but need to find the right moment.

UPDATE!
I am going to add some more requirements into the mix.
The vehicle has to be able to float in water and drive on land, with maximum handling.
The vehicle has to have at least one constantly rotating bundle.
The vehicle has to have at least 2 hulls from a vanilla vehicle.
The vehicle CANNOT use any turrets from vanilla vehicles.
The vehicle CANNOT use vanilla weapons. (I want exotic weapons, like TNT cannons, tire catapults, saws, flails, hammers... etc.)
The vehicle can use an engine from a vanilla vehicle.

for some extra points, it can fly!
once again, there will be a slightly contradictory grading system like last time, I'm still building.

anyone interested with the harder required requirements? :D
once again, any random junk you find in the game is fair game for use!

P.S. to make the contest even more crazy, extra credit to who can figure out a (semi) practical use for a building in it! :lol:

Once I put out a release for my mod, I'll take a shot at a junk vehicle, but something I'd actually want to use, heheh.

Gonna throw something into the mix, the vehicle can have custom meshes used.
giving a heads up, I would like the vehicle saved in a format it can just be used as a map-side mod, like the junker 88. Have it's files in a zip folder, and I'll take it from there. You can also use the "name_###.rfa" format too.

But, as long as I have the rolling hunk of junk, I'm fine.

If I get enough people, I'm going to make a map that has all the vehicles included, and there will be a large game with the contestants fighting in their vehicles. oh, BTW, if the vehicle is too OP, I will nerf it, but you will know, and I won't nerf it like Wargaming does with World of Tanks. ;)
