.MAX > 3ds??

Post by BotHunter »

Hey all! I keep finding awesome models on turbosquid but half of them are not .3ds. I was wonderin if one of you would be willing to convert a file for me. Again :) .

The file is here: http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/fre ... del/620054 It is .max and I need it .3ds. Thanks! ;)

That model doesn't have any textures or materials. I also look there for models, but you'll have to be willing to make your own textures for the model and UV map it. And you'll have to have a 3D model program to do it, so you might as well use that same program to convert the file to 3DS. It's not that hard, just get a torrent or something.

Just out of curiosity, would you mind PM me the location where U got 3Ds max? ;)

I don't really care bout the textures, Its just the mesh. If I could get it to .3DS then I could import it into Gmax :)

3DS Max 7 and 3DS Max 2013 (or 2012) would be the program.

Open it up in 2013 and save the model in a file format supported by 3DS Max 7's importer, such as OBJ or some other.
