My grandfather and my dad got into it for some time in my past. We had an N scale table a while back, but the engines kept giving us problems. My grandfather built a table of a larger scale and it looked very nice. He put work into a waterfall, small town and some other things.

I know someone made a BF'42 mod with a working train in it, but I don't know what mod that is in.

I used to love my model railway.. on a big board, hanging above the bed.

Creating copies of real life tracks does sound like a huge amount of work.. but a lot of fun.
