Try replacing the names and geometries with Battlefield 1942 geometries.

Difficult. And has about absolutely nothing to do with this thread's topic. Please create a new thread in the BF1942 Modding discussion subforum.

So, after a long break i am trying to get back into modding.

I have never been able to get this code to work.
Senshi wrote:As said in the beginning, I did this for the BG42 mod...so of course you don't have all the geometry and texture files used in the code...

You don't have to use it as a spawnable kit. You can also place it in the init.con as a selectable kit for testing purposes.

Not sure how to edit the init.con as a selectable kit.

I have BG42. Which map is this code working on ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Be a bit more precise about "It doesn't work" and I might be able to give some insight.

To make it selectable...just open the init.con of the map where you want to put it in and look for the two blocks where the kits for each team's selection screen are defined. Just replace one entry with the "Rallypoint-Officer" and that's it.

Map doesn't matter, as I stated in the text. This should work for every map and mod. For other mods you just have to exchange some parts of codes (mainly the geometries that are non-vanilla, like the Gulaschkanone).

You still didn't detail on the "It doesn't work" part, so I still can't help you any further.
