I have made a winter conversion of the BF1942 map: Berlin!

It's now called Winter in Berlin.

It has new terrain shadows, additional lightmaps for some statics (like ammoboxes, and medlockers for example), load screen, menu thumbnail, and a new stereo global ambient sound effect!

The river is also frozen over and you can walk on it!

Oh and it has the nice snow weather effects I made. The primary attraction for this map!

The installer will install BOTH the vanilla BF42 version of the map and DesertCombat version! So those who still love the vanilla BF42 can enjoy this map too!

Man sometimes it kills me that you cant do mods like that SS, That would be sweet on The server i mod for. i will download for my own enjoyment.

TNT please don't clutter up the thread if your not going to post anything constructive.

Your last post was removed because it was completely useless. Please describe what happens when you attempt to run the map. Simply saying it doesn't work doesn't contribute much to the discussion. You have to describe why it doesn't work or at the least the kind of error you get when you run the map.

ah nice! It just needs some snowy static textures. I remember playing a map that had snow on the sandbags and other stuff.

I was making a winter kharkov but kinda stopped. The river actually looked icey. And part of it isn't frozen so there's still some 'tactical-ness' to the map. I'd keep working on it but website work is more important. lol
