Version 1.5 doesn't add a whole lot in comparison to v1.0. I'll post the rather short changelog (which is included in the mod files by the way) anyway:

Changes in v1.5b:

1. Added Ragdoll death animations.
3. Fixed missing mesh on US M25 sniper gun.
2. Various small changes I forgot about. :P

Yes. DCU has all the DC maps and only a few BF2 conversion vehicles and a map. BF242 has the BF2 style menu, loading screens, music, and HUD + a lot more BF2 vehicles/maps.

DCU is intended as a enhancement on DesertCombat where as BF242 is more of a BF2 conversion mod.

This mod is for single player only correct ? On its first version release I could have swore there was a server patch so that It could be played online but anytime I try run it on a server it crashes :(

Its a fixed Version Multiplayer and Singleplayer included.
I hope somebody run it to a Server?
Then i join there sometimes too.

Apache, I have to say this mod is AMAZING. I've never played BF2, I dream of having decent hardware for that..

The toys, everything that's made+ported is so damn AWESOME !!

Buuut..it's crash prone. I would host (ingame, I never do dedicated, which Whisky clan SHOULD, & could), co-op, and drop it down to 32 slots.

I would invite 3 other buds. And it's random, sometimes one or more just can't get in, and sometimes I myself will crash, too with buds.

It seems only to be stable with 2 players, only. Any chance ye could look into this ? Also, didn't see ded. server files, maybe it's in the archive

I've found that running the server side of the mod in Win98/Win2k compatibility mode makes things crash less often. If clients are crashing out, they can also try running it in Win98 or Win2k mode. Right now I don't have any plans on further work on the BF242 mod or the DCU mod.

BF 242, is more better than DCX 0.9, it was a great thing if do you make a DC 1.00 based between DC 0.9 Xtended and BF 242 = DC 1.00.

Actually no modern Warfare Mod updated since Desert Combat Global Front, that one looks stopped, and not complete.:-/
