Re: BF1942 Debugger Multifunctionality Tutorial

Sorry for my late reply but I had some trouble with object lightmapping again. I fixed them now hopefully. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't see many options for the .tga format at least in IrfanView, I played with some settings and also tried different colour depths but it made it worse and it us...

Re: BF1942 Debugger Multifunctionality Tutorial

I also use IrfanView's (latest version 4.35) batch convert function, really strange. :?

Your .tga to .dds converter looks like a really helpful tool but as long as I can't merge the lightmaps correctly it's not of much use for me sadly.

Re: BF1942 Debugger Multifunctionality Tutorial

Hmm, doesn't work for me, it refuses to merge them if they are 32 bit .tga's. Resaving them as 24 bit causes the same "red problem".

Senshi, what program do you use to convert .dds to .tga? Do you mind uploading a couple of .tga/lgt.tga that merge correctly?

Re: BF1942 Debugger Multifunctionality Tutorial

Hehe, okay will do. :) I have yet another problem, it's the same as described by Apache Thunder: [...] Also, I've never gotten the terrain merger to work properly. It would always result in smurfed terrain. I also could not merge the terrain without first converting the terrain textures to TGA and d...

Re: BF1942 Debugger Multifunctionality Tutorial

I realised it was just a typo by me, I deleted my posting in shame. But I have another question: I saw here that it should be possible to put for example a different staticobjects.con in the ShadowWork/bf1942/levels/MAPNAME/ folder and it would use that instead of the one in the map's rfa. Ha...

Re: Can't change weapon icon

Usually this is found in the vehicle's objects.con but the FHSW devs often put all the code that is used by different variants of the same vehicle into an own file with the ending .inc. Within the FW190 folder there is a file called FW190.inc, open it with notepad and you can edit the icons.

Re: Cannot load the Ratte from Forgotten Hope: Secret Weapon

It's my favorite mod because it has the best naval combat and most vehicles of all mods. I also like the FH gameplay and FHSW enhances it in every way, it's an unoffical FH 0.8 or more like FH 1.4 if you take all the added things into account. :P Although this mod is pretty demanding your system is ...

Re: Cannot load the Ratte from Forgotten Hope: Secret Weapon

That's true and I don't know what causes it, but I got used to it, I usually Alt+Tab out during the loading time. :)

Re: Cannot load the Ratte from Forgotten Hope: Secret Weapon

You can't load entire vehicles from FHSW via MDT anymore because they changed the whole hierarchy in v0.5.

Re: Cloud system successfully revived!

Wow I came.

Is it possible to fly through and above the clouds? So that you can take cover from ground fire.
