Can the mines in BF1942 be modded to blow up soldiers as well as vehicles?
They would then be AP land mines.
And would the bots stand on them?
I play a lot of single-player...

thanks .Worked perfectly.
I adjusted the timetolive figures for both the exp paks and the rifle grenade.
To help others, I did it in the objects/handweapons/expPack/objects.con file. and the Objects/handweapons/K98RifleGrenade/objects.com file

Is there any way to increase the time out ( exploding ) of the Explosive packs and landmines in BF42?
I found where it is set for 120 seconds, but nowhere to change this figure.
Also can the rifle grenade be made to propel a longer distance?

Understood. I checked the sound files many times, and couldn't find any thing missing. I noticed that the sound ssc. files names for the GW 43 that I imported was the same as the vanilla K98. I used the K98 files for the GW43 and the sound worked! I can not understand that I missed something !.. I w...

Better Texture on shotgun
Has anyone done woodgrain texture on the shotgun stock and butt from BF42 Secret Weapons?
The weapon is fairly boring with the barrel also looking rather plain.
I would like santa to improve the looks please .....
Maybe there is one out there somewhere?

I got all weapons and sounds to work that I imported from SW and RTR. The way I did it was to import ALL wave.files from the sound folder in SW and RTR . :o I was originally only picking out the sound files that I thought was associated with the weapons. By grabbing the lot, there must be wave files...

Thanks for the reply. I will check that info out.The Bren and Sten have the bullet strikes sound as they hit a solid object, everything except the report sound of the bullets leaving the gun! Funny thing is that I can import the shotgun from SW into vanilla BF42 and everything works including all so...
