Re: Object damage modification

Aight I fixed it even tho I dont see the logic behind it. First time i dont understand this kind of thing but have to leave it with that. System recovery did the trick. Didnt think anything could slow down my pc, all looked fine. Sorry for bothering and thanks for the help.

Re: Object damage modification

Thats what I thought but my pc has nothing running (6% cpu usage and 13% ram usage). Temperatures are also good. I even removed my custom map from the directory but nothing changed. I dont get it all I did on the pc today was extracting rfa files, may be installed few mods and surfing the web.

Re: Object damage modification

Does anyone know if somehow modding can slow down your vanilla game even tho you dont touch any files there?. Been extracting a lot of files and mods, now the game lags and map load takes ages. Even the origin version of the game which I didnt do anything with!.

Re: Object damage modification

I might actually even use this command. I noticed that when i put this command on all objects(or any):

ObjectTemplate.damageMod 0

They do not receive damage in a collision. Neither when just one of the objects has this command activated.

Re: Object damage modification

It is a nice command thanks for the reply. I have tried a few times but yet it didnt have the effect I hoped for. What happened was fun tho, especially when i put it on 200 for a certain car: when just slightly touching another car that car would explode instantly  . The car in question howev...

Object damage modification

Hello all, I have a question regarding some issues i have with certain vehicles which i took from mods and have put on my map. Some cars (it is a jeeprace map) do not receive any damage when crashing into another car. Ive tried changing the objects.con files that i use for the vehicles but have noti...

Re: Can any1 help me to check this vechile's code???

It looks like you have enough files. However the game isnt reading your files yet. The way i learned it you have to make a few new .con files. For example for your P80: Go to objects/P80 and open the P-80 map. Create a new file called P-80.con (or copy an old one and rename) Open this new file and w...

Re: Missing animation

Thanks for the replies. Yes i think I have all files. I have alos looked up custom maps made by others that have a motorbike and they dont have this fixed either. I wonder why it is good in secret weapons for example, but not in a custom map. Is there a file elsewhere that need to be changed?. you'l...
